On the road with his new team, the Alma Snowy Owls, for a game against the Mashteuiatsh Wolves, 14-year-old Tremblay just wants to find his place. But in a locker room where loyalty is measured in bruises, he’ll have to choose: follow the pack… or become the violence it demands.

JEAN-MARTIN GAGNON

Originally from Alma in the Lac St-Jean region, Jean-Martin has been making short fiction films, documentaries, and music videos since 2014. A graduate in Cultural Action from UQAM, he joined Coop Vidéo in 2016, where he worked as a first assistant director (Le problème d’infiltration) and as a producer for Robert Morin and Henry Bernadet.

In 2018, he was a filmmaker-mentor with Wapikoni Mobile, where Les débutants, a film he mentored, won the Audience Award. His last three short films (Puisqu’on se tue toujours trop tard, Pharmakon, and Bonne fête, le désordre!) were screened at the Regard Festival, earning two audience awards. With the documentary series Maisonneuve (NFB), he explores social issues while giving voice to a new generation of Quebecers. He is currently developing a documentary project about the extension of Route 138, in collaboration with the Innu of Unamen Shipu.

GUILLAUME HARVEY

Screenwriter, director and teacher, Guillaume Harvey explores comedy-drama in all its forms. He notably wrote and directed the short films Une bombe, En attendant Pascal, Les sentiers battus and Le dernier rhinocéros and co-scripted the short series Sandy. He is currently developing Génies en herbe, a first feature film with Alexandre Pelletier.

Rudesse is his second collaboration with Jean-Martin Gagnon.
